it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a … drone?

Drones have been all the rage for quite sometime whether they are making the news for reaching new levels of devastation in warfare, or disrupting air traffic at airports because a hobbyist was trying to get some “neat footage.” They are a contemporary invention that is here to stay. While most of the headlines tend to trend on the side of controversy for the sake of engagement, drones aren’t completely awful and are indeed being used for good. One example is deploying them in dangerous mountainous terrain not easily accessible by people to look for those who may have gotten lost or fallen off trail.
